Wow, I here ya , your words of exactly my thoughts too, yesterday I was one month post op and i still am having little regrets, but day by day it does get easier!!!! I keep telling myself that I want to live healthy, I want to see my kids grow up in to adults and have their own familys, when you start feeling low and down just take out a piece of paper and free write all the things you want to do once your weight is down and you are able too, I want to go hiking again and camping in the mountains, I want to fit in a air plane seat confortabley and not have to get a seat belt exstention, I want to fit on carnaval rides again !!!! This isn't easy but we have made our choice and now we just need to take it one day at a time and this to will pass, we once again will and enjoy our food, Keep your head up and shoot me a message anytime !!!!

That was me like four days before my Sleeve'n, I even got really emotional and upset and tried to get my husband to talk me out of it. But I'am worthy and so are you, we need to be healthy so we can do the things we want to do with our kids and so we can see them grow up and have grand kids for us to spoil! You are WORTHY, AND YOU DESERVE THE WORLD, THIS TOOL WILL HELP YOU BECOME THE YOU , YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE! I'm 3 weeks out today and have never felt better, keep your head up and all will be well !!!!

I have only outed to only a few of my friends. I feel that they will judge me, and I do know what several of them think about weight loss surgery there favorite think to say is " IT'S THE EASY WAY OUT AND THAT OBESE PEOPLE JUST DO IT SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO DO ANY WORK TO LOSE WEIGHT", I'm gaining confidence daily I will tell them eventually because I want them to know the truth IT ISN'T EASY , IT IS A LIFE CHANGE YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO TAKE, FOR LIFE! I have prepared for 3 years for my surgery and it Has come and gone and I'm out only three weeks, but it is hard to change from your old eating habits, its hard to not want that Ben & jerrys when you are having a bad day , but with GOD by my side I CAN DO THIS, and soon people will start noticing the weight loss and y then I hope I will be confortable telling them the AWESOME CHOICE I MADE FOR A HEALTHIER LIFE !!!!

Pepicd is what my doctor gave me in the hospital and has told me to continue it for up to three weeks post op.

Well, I'm new to this site also I also had my Surgery Tuesday Sept. 27th,2011, everything you posted is exactly how everything is falling in to place for me!! lucky you haven't had any pain with drinking or eating , I have inflamation in my new stomach and I can feel everything, it is very uncomfortable. Keep your head up it gets better is what everybody keeps saying!! TO KEEP MYSELF MOTIVATED I KEEP TELLING MYSELF, IN ONE YEAR I WILL BE ABLE TO GO HIKING WITH MY FAMILY AGAIN!! AND EVERY DAY I KEEP ADDING A NEW THING I WILL BE ABLE TO DO IN A YEAR, I wish you the best and message me any time so we can keep up on eachothers progress !!!!

Well I am in the same boat with my husband, he is very insecure and has told me that he likes me heavy and if I loose weight he will not be attracted to me anymore. I think it is a jealousy thing and a fear thing, because they think we are going to get all sexy and not want them anymore. My husband also told me after 3years of me wanting to get the surgery that the real reason he didn't want me to was he was SCARED I wouldn't make it through the operation, so Im not sure , it is alittle of everything I guess , BUT OUR HEALTH SHOULD BE OUR MAIN CONCERN !!!!!
