Just found out today from my GI that green tea was a bad idea as a caffeine alternative. So I am quitting both coffee and tea for good. :0/ -

I'm in a preop flair up... I hope I don't have post op.. I'm seeing my GI today, I'll mention what u have experienced so I am prepared. I'm afraid of becoming anemic at this point. I've been bad for three months but I'm sure it's presurgery nerves. Thank u for sharing . Get well soon . -

Today I bought my vitamins and pre op protein shakes. I will start taking the vitamins to get my body used to them and in one week I start my preop diet :0) I got banana flavor from bariatric advantage. I hope it's yummy cuz that'll b my meal 6 times a day for 14 days. :0/ cheers* -

I'm having it done this month I'll keep u posted and according to my GI this surgery shoukd reduce the symptoms and flair ups. I also take asacol. -

I checked this week about my permanent piercing jewelry I have in and they said absolutely not, so I'm going to gave the piercing place remove it n put it back after. The surgeon said any small metal will interfere with surgical equipment, etc. It's a definately no on the perching jewelery.
