I am a board-certified plastic surgeon and have specialized in plastic surgery after weight loss for nearly 10 years.  As a fully trained general surgeon, I also performed weight loss procdures as they first became available to patients in the late 1990s under Dr. Frank Moody.  My experience with the special needs of weight loss patients of all types is extensive. 
My practice and about 15 of my patients were  featured on many episodes of the Discovery Health Series "Big Medicine."
