Hi Cher, It take aleast 3 weeks before you can lift. Usually the first 2 weeks you can lift no more than 20lbs. Talk to you Doctor.

Hi everyone I'm looking for a doctor for my Operation Manager's friend. Her friend is thinking of having this done and I want to be able to give her a couple of doctors. I had the band done 1/22/07. so far before and after surgery I lost 30lbs and I'm starting to feel good about myself. I have around another 70lbs to go but I try not to look at that. What's nice is that I'm able to talk about my experience to other people who are thinking about having it done and also what a blessing it is once you've had it done.

I just want to say hi to everyone. It's been 3 weeks since my surgery and I'm feeling pretty good. It's sooooo nice to be able to eat eggs and put a little cheese and veggies into it. My 1st fill is on 3/12 and I'm looking forward to it.

I JUST WANTED TO SAY HELLO TO EVERYONE AND HOPE EVERYBODY IS HAVING A GOOD DAY. I'M NEW TOO THIS. SURGERY WAS 1/22 AND I FEEL REALLY GOOD BUT I WISH I COULD STOP MY STOMACH FROM GROWLING SOO MUCH. I'M STARTING TO DRINK ALOT OF V8 WHICH IS MY SAVING GRACE. :nervous
