Should I go for wedding cocktails on last minute invite?
Cremedream posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi all. well, yes, this is very off topic. I am set for lap band to VSG revision on Oct 15th and excited about it, but something funny has come up in the whole non-scale arena. Should I got for wedding cocktails a (sorta) former friend invited me to with less than a week and a half's notice? I assume she doesn't think I can go and that the invite was more of a courtesy. We haven't seen each other in years and she was part of a group of former friend that I no longer speak to. However, I would like to express to her that I appreciate her friendship (even if it's just acquaintanceship at this point) and honor the invite. This I assume would be a surprise to her and hopefully a pleasant one. Again, I know I'm probably invited to the cocktail party for those she'd rather not have at the wedding... which is fine with me actually as we haven't been close in many years. But I'd like to take the opportunity to express that I wouldn't mind being better friends with her. Should I go to the party? -

I appreciate the advice, thanks! -
Your band needs to be removed, that's for sure. It's pretty dangerous seeing as you can't even make an unfill now. A sleeve on someone with only 20-30lbs to lose is questionable though, so definitely check with your doctor. But yeah, I think you should go for conversion to VSG straight away.

I'm looking for reviews and experiences of Dr. Alvarez patients. What was your experience like with him? Are you happy with the results of your surgery? How was your recovery and follow up care? What did you think of the hospital? Thanks so much for your help.

Dr. Alvarez reviews

Thanks so much for the reviews. Between here, YouTube and obesity help I have decided on Dr.Alvarez. I now have an Oct 15th surgery date and am going to buy his book. I am so excited! Kristin, I am glad things are going well so far with your recovery. Please stay well and thanks for answering my questions. I am working for myself and have plenty of time to recover but will also be traveling to Mexico alone. However I did this for my lap band surgery in Tijuana almost three yrs ago so I'm nervous but not scared. Looking forward to the procedure that will work for me! :-) -
