I was diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes in 2011. I had gained over 100lbs between 2005 and 2011. My PCM agreed that the lap-band was the way to go. He put me in for a referral for an evaluation with a weightloss doctor. I was approve by tricare prime within 24hrs. I had my surgery on September 20th, 2011. I also had haital hernia repair during my lapband surgey.
