hey whats up everyone...havent been around a few days...just got my second {and final} DR. referal in the mail, and I must say that I could not have written them better myself...if I am denied by my insurance company, then they wont pay for ANYONE!!!!!!!! I'll keep in touch...

I cant leave the country -damn parole board!!! JUST KIDDING!!!!! Its just not feasable at the momment...someone told me to check out Denver and another in Topeaka...I'm in KCMO. is anyone familiar with these? Docs closer to home are going to be easier. Pax10

hey JBTULLIS- thanx for the response....where are you at in the process? I have gone to his siminar, and am collecting my Dr. referals, but so far thats it. If I become a self-pay, someone told me about a doc in topeka that works for 11,000- anyone know about this? I am unable to go to mexico...any other ideas in midwest?

Hey fellas..great idea for a guys page..I just discovered this site yesterday, so I am still feeling my way around. I am just getting started- check out my profile for the details. - pax10- I read a lot about people going to Mexico.. dont get me wrong, I love TJ, but I would be a little nervous about getting surgery there.. maybe I am just paranoid? I am trying to convince my insurance, but have already decided that if I am denied, I will self-pay...aprox 16,500 here in KCMO with Dr. Malley. That comes with one year follow-ups and fills, then fills are 100 bucks a pop after that. He is supposed to be one of the best, and to me, being thin for the first time in my life is hard to put a price tag on!!! Any other fellas out there from KC? I have tried to ad a couple of ''buddies'' to my list-it says to type in their name and then hit ''save list'', well I cant find ''save list''! Somebody holler back, pax10.

I am 29 years old, I am 6'4 in tall and weigh aprox 315 lbs, giving me a B.M.I of 40. I have just recently begun the process of accumilating doctor referals to try and persuade my insurance company to pay for this. I am using Dr. Malley of Surgical Weightloss Centers of KC. I have been to the initial orientation but am waiting on my referals to schedule my first appointment face to face with the Dr. I have already decided that if my insurance declines coverage, than I will be paying cash...aprox 17,000 dollars. I have a good railroad job, and it wont be easy, but it is worth it, no matter what. I am in the early stages, but I will keep in touch!! I also welcome any feedback from anyone!! Take care.
