lrs When they first put the band on the do not add a fill of any kind. It just goes around your stomach. First fill is around 6 weeks so most do not feel any restriction. I didn't and with 9 in me right now I still don't so it takes time and I mean time and you got to be patient. -
No, but I have chrones disease and was wondering what will happen when I do. I spoke to my GI and I will take Cristal Lite with some laxative you take over the counter and it will prep you just fine. The laxitive has not taste and the crista lite is light colored (not red). I took it this way before and it great and does work so why are you taking pills?

I have a 11cc band in me. Got my operations Sep 2011. Had 4 fills to date with 9cc in. I feel no different at all. Can eat as fast and do not get full. Don't get me wrong, I have lost 30 pounds since surgery but on my own. Feel like why am I doing this. Doc states everyone is different and the top of my stomach is small so it will take more. If 11cc does not do the trick what do you do? -

2 Weeks before my surgery I was also put on a liquid diet. It was the HMR which was 500 caleries per day. nothing else, no jello, no nothing. I lost 10 pounds by surgery. one warning i gained 5 pounds the day after surgery from just liquid and jello but now 8 days after I lost 3 addition lbs from my surgery date. And my band did not even get a fill yet. So hang in there. Trick is eat right, do not nash, and excercise.
