So true. I have a friend who is a teacher in Ga who has to buy her own pencils, pens etc to have on hand if the kids fail to bring them. WHAT?? Keep working on it. It's not easy, but the band certainly does help once you get restriction. Believe it or not, you'll adapt and actually enjoy the freedom of not being so 'weighed down' by the thought of food. I promise. But I commend you for trying to be a bandster, pre-band. Health was my first concern. Vanity came right in there behind it. I looked awful, I couldn't breathe. I couldn't walk fast enough to keep up with others. I was a burden on myself and those around me. It sucked! And having been a very petite 118lbs upon graduation, I KNEW I was a fiesty, vibrant, cute girl inside and for some reason had built myself a cocoon to cover up in. ME - I did it and I had to get some semblance of her back or I was going to die.

This is where things like SF Jello instant Desserts are very helpful to me. Or my yogurt at night to take pre-bedtime medicines. You're right. It's tougher in the evening.

I think it's been established who are the smartest amongst us and who have all the 'facts' and the time and obsession to dig them up. I, for one, submit.
