Welcome!! Read, read, read! -
I love it. Of course, I don't watch it everyday, but I do think it's a very powerful movie. I admit, I am a sucker for a good tear-jerker. Some mothers are just like Shirley McLaines character and if they're not, they can and often do leave their daughters feeling alot like the daughter in that movie. I think it's a good look at human relationships and how our lives change us and help us to grow.

Maybe I missed something, but I guess I don't understand why they didn't replace the band at the time of removal?? Mine slipped, they went in to try to reposition and it broke, so they just replaced it with a new one. One surgery is much cheaper and easier on the body than two. Of course, what's done is done, so I'm just wondering why they're making you wait.

I'm all for locking this thread and moving the movie talk to a more pertinent thread. But yes, get Steel Magnolias.. and if you love Shirley McLaine get Terms of Endearment as well. and some Kleenex, while you're at it.
-
I LOVE Steel Magnolias. The cemetary scene just kills me every single time.. I laugh my ass off and cry at the same time.
-
I would prefer to see the thread closed since the parties involved are no longer here. Please..

This depends on your restriction. I take 5 pills a day. One capsule for Cymbalta, the others are small tablets. The capsules can get hung up if you are extremely restricted. Over a 3 yr period, I have had to cut pills or open capsules or get liquid form twice. Otherwise, I take my pills daily by taking them only as I eat dinner, so as to lube the throat - also with yogurt, etc.

I believe the stalking referred to has to do with someone starting a thread, or even posting on someone else's then having another come in and post snide remarks and sarcasm in reference to the original poster's remarks. Although, some people think their remarks are clever enough to cover up the malice intended, it is sometimes very obvious that another poster is replying for the sake of making the other appear foolish. When this becomes a game for one or several in a group, I think it could be considered 'stalking', especially when it becomes habitual to the point of disrupting entire threads and eventually an entire board. Hope that makes sense. We have all been in situations where people have ganged up on us for some reason or another. On a message board, it sort of appears as a flock of vultures or a pack of wolves descending on it's prey. Laying in wait, for the next post, just so they can add their next barb or backhanded compliment. Childish really, but disruptive and hurtful nonetheless.

Susan, Is it necessary to dredge up those old posts? From what I can tell, the chicken Sh*t posts were deleted by mods. Then there was the Honeymoon Phase. Dare we bring up the Sunshine Sisters posts? Or How about the Disgruntled Old Failures? I was there, we LEFT your threads and made our own, YOU came in before the page even got loaded well and began to post out of spite. Would you have me go back and copy and paste? Is this necessary, because I DO have a job I need to tend to. Or couldn't you just say WHY you feel it necessary to have followed Lisa around and disrupted every thread she was on? Hell, don't even say why, just admit it is so and stop feigning innocence. Don't make excuses, don't lay blame, just admit you did it and call your pack off. You and your crew tore into those posts and laughed like hyenas while you tried to destroy Delarla. Please don't misunderstand my intention here. I do believe Delarla has done far more damage than was ever necessary, but I was there. I did see and have seen exactly what she is talking about. You say you don't like her, you don't want to be around her, but you and your cohorts HAVE in fact disrupted every single post she has attempted to post on, with malice and with intention, laughing all the way. Before I get torn to shreds as well, please understand, I think you (and others) were both wrong, but I also think it is unfair that Delarla is the one being burned at the stake (and especially by people who have no idea what transpired) when what she says is correct.

You are right, Darcy. They were ALL wrong.

Is There A Miracle Drink Anyone????

I found the Atkins ready to drink to be about as good as any other I tried. I love CIB with really cold high protein milk. The Isopure clear drink in the bottle was great for the protein content, but it always gave me indigestion before I could get the first drink down.

I had gall-bladder surgery, but had no fill at the time. He put a fill in while he was in there.
-
yep. 5 incisions, half moon shape, like a rainbow...
-
because the wire may hurt the upper incisions which fall beneath your braline?
-
DODY!!! That was so uncalled for. Isn't there enough going on already?

This is a great attitude to take pre-band!! It's getting the mind to work with the band that's really the hardest part. If you can conquer that early on, half the battle is won! Good for you!!

hahaha.. most probably!! I love you Geezer Sue!
