My neice just had the Lapband surgery and I am currently over weight and have discussed this with my dr. I need to contact my ins carrier and get them to ok the surgery. My dr said my BMI is in range to qualify for the Lapband surgery and I am seriously considering doing it. My goal is to get my weight under control and get off diabetic meds and all the other meds I am currently on. I'm looking forward to working and learning with you all.
