Banded Sept 26 and it went flawless. No pain at all, anywhere. Two and a half weeks out of surgery and weight is hovering around surgery weight. I feel very little if any restriction but I have yet to get my first fill. I can drink and eat almost anything now, just not at the same time. I plan to ask for a fill this Thursday as I'm hungury within 20 minutes of eating. Still no regrets.

Post surgery not what I expected

I had surgery on Sept 26 and am now two and a half weeks post op. I dropped 28 lbs on the pre-op diet and another 5 during the first week after being banded but I have gained a couple back since then. I feel no restriction and am hungry 30 minutes after eating. I can eat almost anything although I haven't tried bread (scared to try). I've had no pain at all. I do feel a little "Waterboarded" if I try to drink while eating but otherwise, nothing different. I have an appointment this Thursday an am going to ask for the first fill. Is that a good idea? -

I'm scheduled for surgery in two days, Sept 26th. I have been on the pre-op diet for 11 days and have dropped 21lbs as of this morning. I often get dizzy and am starving. Does it get any easier after the banding? I've been on Protein shakes and Jello pudding, with a little broth mixed in for flavor. No cheating at all. -
