Throwing up even after a year or two following the lap-band?

Hi... I would love some input. I have been researching this surgery on and off for a few years and getting ready to go through all the steps. I have a friend whose daughter had the lap-band surgery a few years ago. She recently told me that she throws up every morning and she doesn't eat much at all. Is this normal or is she doing something wrong? I also just heard that she is having kidney problems and I have no idea as to the cause. I would hope that you would be accustomed to what you can and can't eat and how much, and wouldn't be throwing up after a few years! I would appreciate any input... -
Hi Ready2... I am LookingBetter. Thank you for answering my post about throwing up. I have a question, I am researching having the lap-band, still in the 1st stages, had the consultation. It seems SO restricted on what you can eat, have to chew slow... etc. or you have problems. Have you ever regretted having the surgery? Or are you glad and it isn't that much to put up with your weight loss results? Thank you
