My name is Valerie, and I had lap-band surgery on Monday, Sept. 26, 2011. I have been trying to diet and to lose weight for the last 20 years without success. Ever since the birth of my children, who are now 18 and 20.So, after about a year of debating, I finally decided to go with the lap band procedure and get my life healthy again! I have developed high blood pressure, high cholesterol and sleep apnea. I want to be able to grow old with my husband and see my grandchildren one day!
So, I am ready to change! This is the first day of the rest of my healthier life!!
