I am 36 yrs. old and never really struggled with weight until my late 20's. I tried so many diets and programs on the market along with many workout programs. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2010 and well I was glad I finally had an answer for the weight gain and lack of loss. So the end of 2011 I decided to look into Vsg surgery. I started my process in January of 2012 and had my surgery on 03/12/2012. I am so happy with my decision. I started at 243 lbs the day of surgery and am now 218 as of today 4/28/2012. I am happy with the results so far and I plan on running a 5k this year, thats one of my goals anyway.
I thank God everyday for this gift. I feel better and had a great surgery experience. This was my first surgery and with this experience I would have another with no issue. The eating is an adjustment as I am a lover of flavors and savory food so eating such small portions is an adjustment, but I have no regrets!!!!!!
