Hi everyone, I had a fill today for the first time in almost two years; I'm up to 7cc now. But ever since the fill I have been throwing up a 'foamy' vomit (sorry if this grosses anyone out) & I haven't eaten or drank anything since the fill. So no food coming up just the foam and saliva. Any advice???? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App

Please don't wait like I did! It just got worse and I was really dehydrated and swollen from all the vomiting. Take care of yourself! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App

Yes; thank you. I didn't get any advice from anyone so I held on through the night but by this morning I couldn't take it anymore. Couldn't even take a sip of Water and I threw up all night. The 1cc was definitely too much - it was too tight. Doc took .5cc out and I felt instant relief. liquids for the rest if the day today. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using the BariatricPal App

Banded December 1, 2010 - down 102lbs!!! Banded December 1, 2010 - down 102lbs!!! -
You are correct stuck issues usually come along with fills. In the weeks when my band was empty (post op) I could eat anything with no issues at all and could still eat a lot. After a couple fills the stuck issues really began. I have trouble with breads, potatoes, seafood and most of all beef. There r some days when I can't drink much at all as well.

Hello. I am also a December bandster, 2010! I am down 84lbs & 16lbs away from my goal weight. I am in the same rut as you guys and need some buddies/ encouragement. I am so close and keep falling off the wagon! I am so discouraged. Today is one of those bad days when I just can't get much of anything down so I've resorted to the bad stuff ( eating pretzels as I type). Yesterday I could gey EVERYTHING down. I've got to get back on track! HELP!!!!

Thanks guys. I appreciate your feedback. Yesterday was a little better. I was able to take in some broth, water and a little soup later on. Today was even better. I had my normal cup of coffee this morning (of course had to sip very slowly) and then a little yogurt a little later on. For lunch I had a little turkey chilli and was able to keep everything down today. So it's getting better and as long as each day gets better I will stay at the current fill level. If things don't continue to get better, I will definitely see my doctor ro have some fluid taken out.

Hello everyone, I am new to the group and blogging. I was banded on December 1, 2010. My starting weight was 226lbs; my current weight is 181.6. I had my band tightened (filled) on this past Friday (September 16, 2011). I have not been able to consume anything since then. I am having a really rough time with this adjustment. For the past two days I have not even been able to consume liquids, maybe a swallow or two but if I have anymore than that it comes back up. I am really hungry and have a constant headache. Today I started out by just trying to sip some cranberry juice mixed with gingerale. So far it's been ok. I've only taken two swallows about 15 minutes apart and it seems to be staying down. I'm hoping todaygoes better than the last two days. Has anyone else had this experience after an adjustment? Please provide some feed back for me guys, I really need it. I would like to hear that this will subside very soon, as I really don't want to go back to the doctor to have fluid taken out...................

Hi Heather! Thanks for the response. I too was thinking that I might be too tight. They did not tell me to stay away from carbonation. I only added the gingerale because I thought it might help to settle my stomach. I am sipping on some warm broth now, so far so good. I'm taking it really slow though, only a spoonful every 10-15 minutes. So we'll see how it goes..... Would you please tell me what you mean by "flushing"?
