Okay so I am starting to really worry about the surgery part of this joirney! I've never been in the hospital, never had surgery, and never been put under anesthesia! These are all things I am worrying about right now! Also the pain after the hospital! How long before you feel back to normal?! Any advice is greatly welcomed! <3

(i don't go out AT ALL because of this) -i have decided that when i get under 200 lbs that i will finally get a tattoo (i've wanted one since i was about 17, i'm now 19) -can't wait to have a variety of stores to choose from....not just 2-3 -can't wait to get compliments from guys....that has NEVER happened!!!! -i want to go on a beachy/tropical vacation -i just graduated in may....i can't wait to see people from high school and see their reaction.... -
Well I am 19 years old and a soon to be college student. I have struggled with my weight for most if not all of my life. I have never been thin, always overweight. When I was younger like elementary/middle school age my weight really affected me mentally and socially. I used to get picked on all of the time. It wasn't until my freshman year of highschool that I became confident and comfortable in who I was, and the way I looked. I have tried diet after diet after diet and they just don't work, or I am just not motivated enough to follow through. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) in the 8th grade that i saw my weight was an issue medically. With this syndrome comes many things.....diabetes being one of them. I have type 2 diabetes that is now controlled with medication, but i still worry about things like my eye sight and my feet and legs. Anyway......I am wanting to get this surgery so that I can get rid of all this weight and become a healthier woman. What I want in life is to become a wife/mother. I know that as long as I have this weight on that it will be extremly hard if not imposible for me to have children. I have my first appointment with my Dr. on October 4th. If anyone has any advice, I would love to hear it! Thanks <3
