    hot or cold shower??

Stick with luke warm or warmer , that was best for me, my surgery was last friday, today is one week! I asked when I could swim and they said not until completely healed and no scabs. The shower will make you feel better, and you will rest better. Good luck!
  3. Take it from an old chick, you have beaten yourself up enough, it is time to love you, cra cra and all! Give yourself postive and no more of this negative stuff. You are on a journey for you, slow down and enjoy it. Just becuase the scale does not move does not mean that your body is not adjusting to the new you. You want to talk about scale obession, i weight after i go to the bathroom hoping i will be down a littel, got to get scale out of the house. dont let it dictate your progress, i bet you feel pretty good until you step on it? come on we are in this together all the way to the end! dont give up, please!

    New to LapBandTalk.com

LaToya, I am also new, had my surgery in Florida September 9, no problems. Starting weight 215, today 203, Friday i will be one week. Some of the weight loss his from the preop diet. I feel great had some pain mostly my shoulder first few days but now i'm good. So excited to begin this journey, i was nervous also, but my dr is the best and he was there all the way. There will be sacrafices, but they are ones that i am willing to make. I am 53 years old, and i feel like i am just starting a new life! I will be here for what ever you need, it is great to have support through such important decisions that we make with our lives. Way to go and you are never alone!
