Alright, alright!! LOL I'll take my before pictures this weekend!! I know I need to take them, but I just feel bad enough looking at myself with clothes ON!!! Disney, I don't know how you did it to not see the pics!! I wouldn't have been able to do that! And congrats to all of you who are almost there to reach your goal! I'm just beginning and it seems like one of the longest journey's I've ever been on (including the 9 months of pregnancy). I wish I was where y'all are at right now... being able to look at pictures of myself without cringing, wearing clothes i actually look sexy in, and not feeling bad everytime I go out with friends cause guys won't even look at me. BUT, I have faith I will get there someday. My nieces sweet 16 is next August so I want to loose as much as I can by then, so I can buy the pictures I'm in, too! lol

Hey everyone, Peacequeen, just as emmas mom said, Nioxin works great. I have always used it when my hair falls out due to stress and things like that. I haven't had my surgery yet either (hopefully in January) but I'm going to get a head start and start using the shampoo and conditioner in November. Hopefully not as much hair will fall. I've used Nioxin for the past 5 years, at least two cycles a year (a bottle of shampoo and conditioner and it's vitamins). I strongly recommend it!!! I really hope it works!! And I will have to agree with everyone else, hair extensions, weaves, etc... are waaaaaay better than 100 extra lbs!! LOL!! Our hair will grow back so no worries!!

Hello everyone! I have FEDblue also and I just started my 3 month process last week. So i will finish my 3 months in December, right? The coordinator told me that BCBS usually takes 30 days to approve. My BMI is exactly 40 so I can't afford to loose any weight at all, right? I'm sorry, I just have so many questions! Anywhose, from what I'm learning from you all, it doesn't take that long. Does anyone have any new news on their insurane approval?? I'm so nervouse to start this but i want the three months to go by fast!!! LOL Melissa

Hello, everyone! My name is Melissa. I'm 30 years old and weight 220 lbs. I'm tired of being tired!! I have a very active 3 year old and most of the time I'm just too tired to play with her. She started to notice and so I decided to do something about it. I had my first appointment with my general doctor and since I have BCBS Federal, I have to do 3 months of weight management. I wish I could have the surgery sooner because 3 months seems like a long time but I know I have to do it!! I was wondering if anyone that has BCBS Federal has ever been denied and for what reasons. I'm very nervous about the whole process!!! thanks to anyone who offers their words of encouragment!
