Yesterday I craved a filet o fish so bad so I went and got one sans bun. It didn't go down very well though and I felt sick. I think I'll get some plain fish at the store to fix, maybe dip it in some parmesan before cooking.

That's exactly my problem!!! I threw up a scrambled egg but PB cups go right down just fine. Not good! Today I cut up a pear and had few slices with some cheddar cheese. Thankfully that sat well with the sleeve. Does anyone else have no appetite in the morning? I can't stomach anything until about 11 am and then I eat a little bit every couple hours until about 5 or 6. Then I'm done for the day. Very weird!

My problem is I'm just 2 wks. out so protein still hurts going down but crappy foods like PB cups go down great.

What a blessing to have had 11 babies, congrats on that alone! I have 5 and they are a treasure. I havn't tried Zumba yet but I think I am going to test out the weekly class at our library to see if I like it. It looks fun!

That sounds really good. Too bad I already went shopping for the week. -
Dr. Aceves Post Op Diet Question

Sorry, I'm no help. I'm already eating mushies. -
Parents Anti-Mexico = Added Stress
A New Day replied to Scorch's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Please try to relax and do what you know is best for you. When I told my mom, I also told her I wasn't asking her permission. I knew she would freak out, especially about going to Mexico. I also had the added stress of my husband freaking out too. But they finally both came around and here I am 11 days post op and 13 lbs down so far. I am very happy I did what I knew I needed to do, even though I'm in the toughest part of it right now! Hang in there! (((hugs))) -
I'm so sorry. Hopefully she will come around after surgery. Have you told her straight up that her behavior is causing you to have serious doubts about your marriage?

I am really amazed at the differences in dietary timelines.
A New Day replied to ItsTheSleeve's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
I've been experimenting with mushies since 5 days post op. The liquid diet was not cutting it so I moved on. My drs. plan involves 10 days of clear and then 10 days of full liquids before mushies! I just couldn't wait that long. -

OK, you have sufficiently freaked me out!!! I am praying this will work for me but all I can think about is how I sabotage every diet I've been on. Oh dear. -
Try NuNaturals stevia. It has no chemicals, all natural, and not bitter like other stevia. I use the liquid vanilla stevia as well as their powdered stevia.

Hi, I think I was there the same time as you. I was sleeved by Aceves on the 10th. Great experience, although I don't remember too much of it because of the meds. They put us at the Crowne Plaza the night before surgery though. I wonder why you were in a different hotel? Best wishes on your journey! If you are who I remember you didn't look like you had much to lose. I thought you might have been a lapband revision to sleeve. I am down 10 lbs so far one week out!

How in the world can we binge with the sleeve? Does it really stretch that much to accommodate a binge? -
Hey there, I had my VSG on the 10th w/ Aceves. I'm sure I met you but my time there is kind of a medicated haze. LOL
-
That really stinks! Dr. Aceves and Dr. Campos were in my room multiple times a day checking on me.
