I guess I'm the bad guy I saw where a woman just died from the lap band it slipped and strangled her stomach and she had siezers and died so I changed to the gastric by pass sense my health plan won't pay for the sleeve everything is the same my surgery date is still the 14th of Sept I have no pre opt diet as far as i know of but still good luck to every one -

I will be banded sept 14th i have not been given a pre opt diet yet.I'm really excited to get it done I have been waiting sense FeB.and now I have my date .I would like a buddy . and Good luck to all so glad to be part of this group.let us know how it went .maybe we can get togeather and help each other get through this and discuss any problems any one has . -

I am 71 and I just got my date Sept 14/ 2012 I am excited and happy don't know if i will be on a diet or not i have a dr. appointment sept.11/2012 do i have to diet 3 days before ?I am waiting for the letter with information .I am really excited .I will be healthy and off insulin. I want buddys . -
