2 week liquid diet shakes
CHEZNOEL replied to Hope2013's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The one you posted looks good. Some don't like shakes mixed with water, and even skim milk can add carbs and calories. If you find you don't care for the water, try unsweetened almond milk in either plain or vanilla. It is only 30 calories per cup and high in calcium. -
It is only hair and it will grow back. Better a healthy you with a hairpiece than obese with sexy hair!

Great progress and happy things are settling down. I had problems of the other type post surgery and had to have meds to go. Funny how we are all different. I hope you continue to do well. If you have questions, we will be here.

CHEZNOEL replied to LadyMaggie's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Call the doctor, it does not sound normal. How long to wait after last eating to go to bed? -
Why people and studies are so negative about lapband

newbie - Qs about cost; just off the phone w/ Ins Co
CHEZNOEL replied to aviva1979's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was self pay, and the net out of pocket was around 10K. -
Yes, but chew well.

Drink hot ginger tea or sip flat ginger ale... diet of course!
-
new to site - thank you! (considering surgery + wanting to be pregnant sooner than later)
CHEZNOEL replied to aviva1979's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
I agree with your decision. Your health will mean a healthier baby in the future. -
Look into FitDay.com. You can log your foods there. I know that there are a lot of other places as well. Someone else will answer with those.
-
You need to get an unfill. Alcohol is definitely not smart. Call and talk to your doctors office about payment plan if you must, but get it fixed! Transfer addictions are real!
-
Wow... is there anything left? I can eat all the foods on your list. Consult a nutritionist.

Will I Ever Hit the Green Zone
CHEZNOEL replied to donna12's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Green zone may or may not be in your future, but then many lose without ever feeling it. -
Can't help, I don't drink any alcohol. Empty calories.

Love this idea for salad for lunch. The possibilities are endless!

Great idea Cheryl! -
Amen Cheryl. I have worked with rescued dogs and cats for years. How is little BJ adjusting? I am sure he will thrive on your love and care!

I think being nervous makes you normal. We all felt that way to differing degrees. Yes I did try diets over the years, but once I committed to Lap Band, and never looked back. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself!

1 Year Band Anniversary and 175 pounds gone!
CHEZNOEL replied to DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!'s topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I agree... beautiful and happy! Great work. I know you will get to your goal! -
Hang in there... your day will come!

I agree with the above. I had small amount in band at surgery, and have added less than 2 cc over 14 months. It varies by doctor, so have a chat with your when you go in. Mine waited 6 weeks before adding any to my band.

CHEZNOEL replied to Rn925's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You can lose without a fill, plenty on here have. Cheryl just posted, also look at Carolina Girl. She is down 88 pounds without a fill. -
Help! is this normal?!
CHEZNOEL replied to Brittb1987's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My mother always said, "better out than in!" -
Looks disgusting, but if you like it, go for it!
