Congratulations on your surgery dates!

I would vote against the hermit routine. You can eat with others as long as you eat what you are supposed to be eating. Your family will adjust to your pace. Friends need to be told not to offer you more or be concerned about how much you eat. It is a lifestyle change and you need to keep living a normal life while you change.

Happy weekend to all! Carole, Kitchen remodels are trying times. It is amazing how much of our life centers around a kitchen... could that be why we all had weight issues? Doreen, will send you my address file. Charlie needs a kick in the butt to get with the program! We don't want him ending up back in the hospital! Janet, glad to hear you are making such good progress. I know you cannot wait to be pain free. Dawn... an aggressive boarder eh? Maybe you should turn him lose to scare off the neighbors! I alternate between quilting and scrap booking but only have one big work surface. I will cycle back, but I don't remember your colors! Michele... best wishes on the CPA exam. Appetizers and salads, lean meats, veggie plates. Don't go back to work until you are on solid foods! Lots of take out containers too!

The hair grows back We all were scared So happy and never a regret! You can do it if you want it bad enough. It is hard work like anything worth having!

Just got home from an emergency trip to the boat. Our onboard A/C died... nothing that $4000 and two new units won't fix! UGH!!! Janet how's the knee feeling? When do you get to go home? Carole... strange August weather for us too! Dawn... love the new puppy, did not realize you were a foster mom. I used to do that too! Michele... school and work update please? Doreen.. is Charlie behaving and back on his meds? Diane... hope Mom is behaving and not streaking the neighbors! My hubby says I need a fill. I can eat way too much way too fast. Even he noticed tonight at dinner. BUT... good news is I am not gaining so maybe I can get the fill a lose a bit more like I want... especially before the January cruise! Janet.... prayers continue for your surgery. I hope it will be not a bad as advertised. My ortho told me that by the time I decided I wanted a replacement the pain would seem less than what I had before surgery. Sure hope that is true for you! Best wishes! Carole, welcome home to NC.
