    Every year BOTH my graddaughters sell the Girl Scout cookies. I buy, but send them all to the troops. These boxes count the same a ones you keep, do not know why mothers would care?

    What is on your pre-surgery diet? Does it include protein shakes? You might want to add one just before your workouts.

    Do you have chicken soup with protein? Unflavored can be added to clear liquids and it may help the hungries.

    I eat 2 tbs of organic granola with Greek yogurt a fair bit. Also add a tbs to cottage cheese and fruit.
  16. Given the size of a deck of cards for meat, I usually try to restrict myself to no more than !/2 cup of veggies.

    A new lease...

    Be careful with the cheats... it is easy to make them a permanent part of your routine. I agree that the brain takes a while to catch on to the plan, but it will get there. Good luck as you progress on your journey!

    I'm really trying and really worried

    By now, most of your meals should be solid food, not shakes. If you eat the solid food meals and add shakes that can add up to too many calories. Measure you portions. or weigh. You may actually be eating too much, or in that so called Bander's Hell where you do not have sufficient retriction. Chat with your nutritionist after logging all foods for a couple of days. You can do it. Keep the faith!

    Good advice. Use your food scales and measure what's left.
