Dawn, so happy Brad was pleased with your surprise visit. The dog and cat look happy to be reunited! Carole... It was 89 here today but supposed to be mid 70s over the weekend. Our fall my come yet. Diane... I think you are the only one who did yell at me to go to the doctor about my spider bite...I went this afternoon, and now have a sore butt from a mammoo dose of steroids to stop the swelling and itching.Seems to be pretty fast acting. So I guess you know you are in trouble when Doreen calls you to get your bum to the doctor. My sore bum is grateful for the support. So Carole all is improving steadily now. Some of the swelling has already gone down. Yay. The shot was supposed to stop the itching as well, and I don't know about stopped but it is much better. Doing mostly good with the fill from this week, now at 6.0 instead of 5.6. I definitely had slipped into eating too fast, so it is good to have feedback again. Bye for now!

OK... so where are all my buddies As I sit here typing a 5:00 AM? Been up for a couple hours. I got bitten by some unknown insect or spider yesterday while sitting on the front porch. Now over half of my left forearm is swollen and VERY itchy. I have taken all I can and put topicals on it to no avail. I have even tried ice. Nothing! I HATE BUGS! Will likely end up having to go in for a shot of steroids today. Yuck! Supposed to meet by younger daughter Etta for lunch today after a medical benefits seminar from IBM where Franc and I retired. The seminar is being held next door to Etta's work. I hope I can even make it. I hope everyone else has a good day. Doreen, sorry to hear about your unfill, but you have been through a lot recently. I hope you will get back on track soon. And Yay for you! 6 pounds down!

Doreen, sorry to hear about your morning problems. I found drinking something warm first thing in the morning helped me... courtesy of a tip from Janet. Janet texted me from the hospital and is out of surgery. I hope she will recover quickly! Hugs and prayers continue! I got 0.4 added to my band to day, to a total of 6 out of 10 (I think our of 10) and so far so good. liquids for the rest of the day and then back on the soft foods. Should be a good reset for me cause I ate pretty much everything at the beach. I got in 2.5 mile walk today after lunch and the grocery store, so, so far so good. Now I am resting after a busy day starting at 8:00 this morning. Tomorrow, back to sewing and scrap booking... or maybe even later today., I am reading a book I want to finish. Michele so sad about your dog, but it sounds like a humane decision. You are doing great as always on your challenge. Carole, such great news about the counter tops. I can't wait to see pictures. Dawn so proud of you focusing on yourself. You will do great, now that some of your other distractions are receding. Wishing you no sickness and a fun surprise visit with Brad! Great day at the beach again today. Picnic was great fun. The weather was perfect. Dawn... what you are feeling is normal empty nest stuff... it will get better I promise. I get one every year and have never had a bad experience... knocking on wood! Michele... still on the 90 day challenge? How is it going for you? I hope it will help you lose all the weight you want. Carole, returning from the coast on Monday... We try never to drive on weekends to avoid the crazy traffic. We are going to take the little boat out to topsail inlet for a picnic today. The weather is gorgeous here. Highs in the mid 80's. Janet glad to here about the tennis ball helping. I used one for a while and it really helped me two... and you are back at the sewing machine! Still summer at the beach Doreen, so not freezing on the water! Dawn... you must be a seer who looks into the future... Today I woke up "belching" and have been ever since. At the beach... weather here is good for now! Both new A/Cs work well so we are nice and cool on board the boat. This is a vacation for us, no projects... just reading boating and beaching! YAY!

I found that Miralax worked for me and was OK'd by my doctor. You should probably call yours and get a recommendation from him.
