Can't wait for the 26th!
-
Time flies when you are having fun! LOL!
-
Sunday morning pancakes cooked by my hubby, even when it is Father's Day. I eat only one, lo card pancake with sugar free syrup... OK... so I add a little pecans and butter to mine. After all it is Sunday. I have walked almost 14 miles in the last 4 days and been very good on my food logging. I am hoping to down at least 1 pound this week. Weigh in is on Monday am. Carole, glad the carafate helps. I took that once with a med that caused me great stomach distressed... seemed to help a lot. I am counting on you and Diane on the 26th. I will be staying overnight so I can visit my Aunt Nell. She's a corker! Michelle, typical results with you daughter and son in law. Hang in there. Sound like you little one is growing too fast. What a nice surprise for a 6th grade graduation party. Next summer, my oldest granddaughter will graduate from the 8th and be off to high school. Oh where does the time go. Cawa, hope you are enjoying your time off... pop in and let us know. Doreen, always busy on the weekends, can't wait to hear all about it. I hope CJ is over his illness. Janet... hope you yard is losing it swampy characteristics and you did not lose too many plants. Need a report on how Maddy is doing these days and Ange too! How are the quilts coming. I started quilting my latest one yesterday. Finished the in the ditch quilting and will now use freehand machine quilting in all the blocks! Picture will be coming! Diane, I hope things will settle out for your Mom's new schedule. I hate to say it, but if she is making you feel like scum and is otherwise looked after... consider skipping a day or so. I had to do that with my Dad once he was in the assisted living place. He could not keep track of days anyhow. Consider giving yourself a break. You'd best show up for lunch are we may come after you! LOL Everyone have a great Father's day! Dawn, I did my best, but still don't think I reached novel status... maybe novella? Love to all!

Diane, we are pleased to have you among us!
-
Happy Father's Day to all GOOD fathers! We can skip the dead beats.
-
Are you calling us dogs? Seriously Michele, my heart goes out to you. Running is definitely better than eating your stress away. Take care of you while all this crap comes down around you. One positive note.... your daughter told you which means you are and always will be her Mom and she knows it!

Sorry, but I would like to know! I have the same problem. How about a note to Alex?

Bridesmaid dress help!
CHEZNOEL replied to beanie80's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would order the bigger size. I know you want the smaller one, but better safe than sorry. -
Just watched the movie, The Social Network. Weird story and Zuckerman is strange!

Sweet dreams Carole!

Hi - begging start of my journey
CHEZNOEL replied to kshannon's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Good luck on your journey! I hope it is everything you are wishing for. It has been for me. -
Keep walking, windmill your arms, and try a heating pad on your upper back! This too shall pass! LOL!
-
It is a secret. One of our members can't know! I will post pix when done. Rose, Grass green, turquoise and yellow.

Carole, sorry, never have had reflux, so I can't add to the debate. But I did finish a new quilt top today!

NSV today on my 1 yr Bandiversary
CHEZNOEL replied to donna12's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Congratulations on your bandiversary and NSV! Keep up the good work! -
Finished Dan Brown's Inferno, now reading Steve Berry.

Tracking is crucial... those little bites here and there add up fast. I am trying to keep to 1200 daily, but exercising a lot and often reach 1300. 800 is low over time you could shut your metabolism down. Call the docs office and check in on what they recommend!

It seems that if all you can eat is soup you may be too tight already. Have you considered an unfill and getting more calories from solid foods?h
-
I agree, liquids only for a day and then back to soft. If you have had your band for eight years you don't need me to tell you what to do. Slow down, chew, chew, chew and make an appointment with a local doctors to assess you band. It is your life you are talking about. Give it some TLC.

No pool parties this weekend, but Dawn you are always welcome! Last I heard from Diane she said she would be at lunch on the 26th. Janet... you've definitely got quilt fever... more fabric and project waiting. Good for you! Carole, have a safe trip to GA.... wishing Seth an uneventful deployment. Prayers going up! Doreen, our hearts break for you. Looking forward to meeting your family in July. Michele, good luck with your final studies. You got this covered! If you can succeed with Lap band you can do anything! Cawa... Hope you are enjoying your days off! Enjoy the pool and life in general! Off to walk the mall with hubby today and work on our challenge for June! So far we are ahead of pace! As for the cruise weight, I am back down to where I was before the gingersnaps... and have high hope for this week. I am logging everything and clearly having a bit of a late night sweet tooth, which is odd because sweets were never my problem. Sigh. I will over come.! Happy day and weekend to all!

Good night my friends. Hope we hear from Diane soon. I worry about her!

First few weeks? Failure?
CHEZNOEL replied to Bandakat412's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Are you logging your food to come up with the calorie count? How about cottage cheese? Depending on the SF pudding it could simulate a sugar high. Also I recommend taking your measurements at least every couple of weeks, you could be losing inches. Ten pounds in 2 weeks is great, so don't get discouraged. You are way too early to declare failure! Best wishes! -

CHEZNOEL replied to aisha1's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my second child using only hypnosis for pain relief. It can work wonders.
