The last person to need therapy is CG! She is a ROCK! She has helped me out a number of times and makes me laugh! Laughter is good for everyone! Just for the record, I am over a year out and it was only last week that I glimpsed myself in a mirror and thought "wow, I am getting thinner!" It takes to brain a while to catch up because we see ourselves every day. I think looking at old pictures, while a bit depressing, can help that thinking! CG don't despair. WE LOVE YOU!

Muscle milk was indeed AWFUL! Try the EAS if you want premixed, or I hear the Walmart shakes are good. Also, if you want to try powder the EAS powder works well. I use almond milk, unsweetened, it is lower calorie and higher protein.

Welcome. I think you should try to find a local bariatric practice and hook up with their support network. Congrats on the weight loss so far!

Take it slow. It hit me hard the time I tried, but then I have always been a cheap drunk. One glass of wine makes me go woowoo! I decided it was wasted calories that I could use on something better for me

Tell them you are on a special diet before the surgery.

Go for it! You will not be sorry. Without co-morbitities you may have to self pay, but I did and I have never regretted it!

Amen to that. I had my TT before LB. Fortunately my gut sucked right in, no more flab! I went by to say thanks to my Plastic Surgeon!
