You will definitely find it when they do your first fill! Lay on your back on a pillow and poke your tummy up. you should be able to feel it, most likely above the largest scar. -

Whenever you feel it is safe... be careful around the port area, you will still be healing there for a while.

Most of us eat so fast, we never notice we are satisfied. With the band you should feel full on 1 cup. If not you may need a fill. Some early warning symptoms... hiccups, runny nose, coughing. Watch for them.

Please consider this carefully. I think you might do well just following the lap band pre diet. The band is serious surgery, and not to be treated a fix from basic lack of will power. -
I have used the same approach when I need to refocus myself. Congrats to you and your hubby!

Don't we all. Unfortunately my mother died before I had my surgery. I think she would be proud of me now! Just remember, she's the only mother you will ever have.
