THIS IS MY STORY AND I'M STICKING TO IT !!!
I was born a chubby baby and became a pleasingly plump little girl, turned into a plump teenager and then after my first baby became a fat adult. So as you can see I have struggled with weight issues my whole life. The first diet I remember was when I was about 8 or 9. From then on I was on one diet or another and tried every every diet and program I heard about or read about. Including some pretty stupid ones.
I am a younger looking and acting 65 year old except for some of my health issues. I am a type two diabetic, I've had both knees replaced and 3 back surgeries all due to being overweight, having a bad fall, and arthritis. Now, I finally went to a weight loss surgery seminar about 4 years ago and three years ago on July 21, 2008 I got my lap band. All went very well for a year and a half and I lost 85 pounds (from a start weight of 309). I started to have a lot of heart burn and went in to see Dr. Forse. After an xray he told me my band had slipped up over my esophagus and that we needed to remove that band and put in another as soon as possible so on December 1, 2009 I had the second surgery done. Not as easy as the first one! Since then I have gotten along well until about a month ago when I came in for a fill and it was so painfull. They could not find the port so they took me down to xray to do the fill that way. Dr. Forse told me the band had slipped again but that he was going to watch it awhile and see what happens. During all of the taking all saline out and then putting some back in I have gained 20 pounds from my low of 225. I need help getting back on track and losing the now 65 pounds I have left to reach my goal. I need help doing it!! Thanks for listening.
