Me and DH went to Vegas on Honeymoon, It was so much to see and do compared to the little town that we are from. I would suggest Madame Tussan's Museum of Wax(hope I spelled that right). We had so much fun posing with the figures. You can touch them and everything. We wondered the strip sight seeing. Oh check out the CSI Las Vegas experience if you are into that, DH was very disappointed that we did not find out about this one until the last day of the trip. I would suggest going on line and seeing what each hotel has to offer during the time you are going to be in Vegas. I had the time of my life, can't wait to go back. Def the entertainment capital of the world.

Hi, Im 28, was sleeved 12-14-2010 and Im down 78 pounds total. I find that if I have some popsicles in the house I will go for those before anything else. They are only a few calories, quick, and refreshing. I have noticed if I dont have some I will snack on everything else in the house. Hope this helps.

I think my head is starting to catch up with my body. I am slowly connecting the dots that I have lost over 70lbs. At first people would say, you look great, you have lost weight. And I would nod and say yes I have, but in my head I still felt like a big girl. Well that mental concept seems to be disappearing. I was in walmart last night and I was actually in the junior's section fitting L(12/14). Now I don't know what that equates to in other sizes but in my world that is pretty unfreaking believable. People I am talking about Junior size clothing. I am estatic. I am wearing one of the outfits that I purchased last night, at work today and I feel that the belle of the ball. Talk about a NSV!!!!

I second, Great job on the weight loss!!! I always increase my exercise change up my exercise and the key thing that I have found that works I increase my Protein, and cut carbs. The scale finally started moving again. Hope this helps.

I love love love love my mirena. I recieved it 11'08 after having my second child. I just had surgery 12/14/2010. Immediately after my surgery I experienced (sorry if TMI) one of my heaviest cycles, but getting much better now. I have to have my mirena taken out in 2013, I will definately be returning to the Mirena family.

Hi I am from Alexandria LA. I was sleeved on Dec 14. I have lost 59lbs since surgery. My only regret was not having this surgery much much much sooner. I feel as though I have my life back. Simple things make me smile like realizing that I can cross my legs or bending and playing with my kids without discomfort. I workout everyday no matter what. I had my surgery in Alexandria LA. performed by Dr. Samuel Bleedsoe. I love him, the hospital, and the total experience. I did not have any complications. I was insurance paid but my friend has to self pay and her cost will be 15K!!! I did a little research online and found it was only $9,500 next door in Texas. I agree with most of the comments here. I had my surgery Dec 14th, 2010. Only a few people know, I didn't even tell my family aunts, uncles, or cousins. I started telling a few people at work and some were really freaked out so i stopped. I just thank God my husband and mom are very supportive. I feel like it's your life and you only get one chance with it so do what makes you happy. Hey it is you who will have to either put on those huge jeans or the skinny ones, you decide what you want. Skip everyone else and their opinions about your decision and your life.
