Hi there, thanks for checking me out.

I had VSG surgery December 5, 2011. My cousin and best friend had RNY the same day and we were roommates in the hospital.

We are always within a range of 5-7 pounds of each other. Some days I have lost a bit more, and other days she is ahead. To date I have lost 116 pounds! I've gone from mostly size 22's to 12's getting to be too big. I have lost my inhibitions and feel like I am finding myself along this journey.

As a result of surgery I had the courage to begin dating again and have met and become engaged to the most amazing man whom I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with.
