    Cheap Protein Shakes

    As far at taste goes hands down I prefer the Isopure powders. My surgeons office sells the big tubs for $40 and you get a lot of shakes out of it using one scoop. However- mostly my pocket likes the $15 powders from WalMart. I haven't found a RTD shake yet that I like. Also, nectar offers some nice alternatives from the typical flavors of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. Good luck!

    Chicken Recipes

    I can't wait to for my sleeve to tolerate chicken again! Both recipes sound yummy! Who would have thought that I would have NO problems with red meat- but chicken kills me!

  9. No refills. I only took them regularly the first three days home. Then only at night until day six. I don't really think you should need the refill. Hopefully not

    Still have 7 pounds before I can wear them, but they were so cheap I had to get them while they were on sale! Also, this is my first post op picture where I can really see my weight loss. Prior to this picture I had to really look to see a difference.

    Dill Pickles For A Snack Wth?

    Pickles are a low calories, no carb snack. But- as it was mentioned they are full of sodium. However- I'm so busy counting calories and carbs and fats- I don't really care so much about sodium myself.

    Self Esteem And The Gym

    I am struggling with feelings similar to yours as well. And honestly, it's in our head. When I first joined two days after Christmas I went three times a week until I got dehydrated. Let me share a few facts with you though; A- A lot of people who go there are just like us B- They really do encourage all people there- not just the skinny ones C- Most people there are just like us. They want to get their workout over with and go home to their busy lives. I need to start going back now that I have the dehydration under control, but mentally I'm freaking myself out about it. Maybe you and I will set a goal with each other to go twice this week?

    Tasty Tuesday! (What Did You Eat Today?)

    I got home late from speaking at a WLS seminar. Pulled some precooked shrimp out of the freezer, soaked them in cold water to unthaw and made some home made cocktail sauce. Voila! Easy, high protein dinner in less than five minutes!

    Give Shrimp A Try

    Seafood is my friend! I have started buying my shrimp at Sams Club because I eat it so often now. Shrimp and broccoli is my fav Scallops and crab legs work well too!
