It's been 5 1/2 months and I can finally say I've passed the 100 pound mark. It's a little overwhelming but I'm very happy and blessed to be at this point in my life.

This has been a up and down battle for me already and I almost thought I was going to be that one person that the surgery just doesn't work as well for. But I stuck to it and let God handle it and I'm proud to say that it's been 7 weeks and I'm down 57lbs!!! Thank you Lord

I'm how as of 8pm yesterday and I feel great. Thanks everyone for asking. Everything went well I can't complain at all.

Wheeeew!!! Thanks alot, I feel alot better now that I have an idea of what my process will be. My current weight is 340 but I start my pre-op diet next week so hopefully I'll loose some of it, but I still have a better idea now. I'm glad to hear that your feeling good and not looking back. I'm really looking forward to my new life and being able to do so many things that other people take for granted. Best wishes to you. -

Hey RGW, I'm sooooo glad I found this forum because I've been looking for someone that knows about Dr. Garcia. I'm having surgery with him on Sept. 27th at Hospital MI Doctor. I've been looking into the Dr Garcia and the hospital but I could not find very much. So how is everything going? If you don't mind could you tell me your weight pre op? I'm trying to get an idea of how things will be with me. Thanks
