I wonder why? Most licensed nutritionists recommend it because you can use fresh milk/soymilk/rice milk/ lactose free milk. Its easier on the digestive system than most Protein drinks. I wonder what evidence he has that it is bad? Just wondering.

I really like sugar free carnation instant breakfast. Its cheap has just as much protein as other protein drinks, and it tastes good! My surgeon highly recommends it.
