I was never a burper and if I had to I would always try to do it on th low but after surgery I found it hurt to hide them so now I belch with the best of them lol. My advice dont hold it in and try gas x strips. They do help! Good luck

MY surgeon said that if my stomach isnt empty enough that I can not get my surgery so how do I know?. I have been on these protien shakes for 9 days now and I have 5 more to go but im worried my stomach isnt emptied enough yet? I know this might sound crazy his suergery means everything to me right now and I just want everything to go perfect. IS there any signs that tells me my stomach is empty? { besides growling all the time} Thanks vb

My date is sept 12 and my pre op diet began on th 30 of august.

mine is 5 protein shakes a day for 2 weeks , no food nothing just shakes and im ok most of the time but seeing food really makes me emotional at this point. I have 5 days to go and I wish they would go faster.
