Hi, from what I have read on various forums it seems everyone has had a different experience, I go the aurthorization from my *** in about two weeks once I had the consultation with Dr Yadegar. I am in the process of bloodwork, psych eval, nutritionist appointments etc. We are hoping to get an earlier date and once I have all the above I will be on a waitlist for an earlier date. So far it seems to have been relatively easy, the longest part was waiting to see the doctor who was really booked up, so it was six long weeks. Hi, I am new to this forum. Getting sleeved Jan 30th unless we can get everything in sooner then maybe earlier. Surgeon is Dr. John Yadegar and am just curious to hear from those that have been to him and what their experiences were like. My primary care physican freaked out a bit as she doesnt know anything about him and would prefer me to get a band. From what I have researched I dont think the band is for me. So any guidance I can get would be very much appreciated. Thanks Jayne

Oh thank you, what is a center of excellence? And I will check out coverage. I assumed if they approved the consult that meant they just approve the surgery.

Hi, I am new to this site. I have my initial consult coming up and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Pacificare ***. I was really surprised that I was approved for this consult since they had denied my initial request to see a dietician?! I am excited and nervous at the prospect of possible banding, yet extremely worried that they will deny me the surgery. Any thoughts?
