Easiyo Yogurt Maker - Does anyone have one of these
AutumnLily replied to Peffermintchili's topic in Food and Nutrition
I have only tried Torani sugar free french vanilla to flavour. I add it after I have mixed in the culture and am ready to pour into the yougurt maker. You have to be careful of acidic or certain fruit flavours as they may curdle the yoghurt. You could add the flavour right before you are going to eat it. -
Easiyo Yogurt Maker - Does anyone have one of these
AutumnLily replied to Peffermintchili's topic in Food and Nutrition
I have not had surgery yet but I make my own yoghurt. I have to say I love it and will continue to make my own post surgery. This way I control what is in the yoghurt. -

You lost 58 pounds in a little over 4 months! That is awesome! Tell me when was the last time you lost that much weight and kept it off in 4 months? That works out to more than 3 lbs a week so I would say it sounds like you are on track. Everyone looses the weight at different rates. If you are doing everything right and following the recommend food plan I would not worry about how fast or slow you are loosing. Keep up the great progress! -
Wow you look amazing! I hope to look as amazing as you do one day.

Do you still have your Gallbladder? -
The texture is what got me. They are NO where near a spaghetti noodle. Its like saying soy milk tastes just like regular milk.. Ummm NO it doesnt, but some people do not mind the flavour of soy. So that being said some people do not mind the noodles. I personally will not buy them again.

There are Vitamins that come in liquid form. Calcium with Vit D made by wellesse is really good and if you take one tbsp in the morning and one in the afternoon you will be able to absorb the Vitamin. B12 you can get as a subligual. I am sure they make a liquid Multivitamin you would have to check it out. As Tiff said your body needs electrolytes to function. Try to get in some gatorade to up your Fluid and get those electrolytes in. Your body functions depend on the electrolytes. You need to get in your protein! If your body starts to eat your muscles (and your heart is a muscle) you will put yourself in more danger. Have you tried natural Protein (tuna, salmon, Peanut Butter, eggs) check out what is available and what you can tolerate. Your doctor will have more suggestions for you, they will know what you need to do and how to go about it. Take care of yourself! Keep us posted on your progress. -
You are looking good! Keep up the great work and keep us posted on your progress.

Got my flights and financing in order....now I'm terrified.
AutumnLily replied to brandynd's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ever since I paid for my plane tickets and put my deposit down I have been a bundle of nerves. I keep on thinking this is for real now that I have paid. Time seems to be flying yet going slow and I am full of so many emotions that I wonder what I will be like closer to the actual date. We are getting the surgery within the same week. -

Mother in Law totally AGAINST!!
AutumnLily replied to MommyTawnie's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Personally I do not believe you have to explain yourself. This is your body and your decision and if your MIL feels that she owns the right to tell you what you should and should not do with your life. Then it should be equal and you can tell her what she can and can not do with her life. Put in in perspective and say that negative comments at this time are to be kept to herself. All the best to you! -
