I'm sure I am among many when I say I have gained and lost weight many times over. I finally went to a seminar at my local hospital back in June. I have several co-workers that have used the same doctors, so I had some knowledge already. The hardest part was getting over the feeling that I was a weight loss flunkie. That if I went through with surgery, It would be like cheating.
I think I spent the better part of a year talking with some of the other people I knew who had been banded. Picking their brain on their reasons. How they feel now. Regrets? I finally came to the realization that I needed to do what I felt was the best solution for me. And here I am.
