How many CC is your Lap Band Filled until you're not hungry?
Josg913 replied to Carfigure's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I have had 2 fills I am at 7cc's now. I think with one more fill I should be in the green zone. It is frustrating after you get a fill and you don't feel any different. After my first fill I didn't feel any difference at all. With the second fill, I do feel a little more restricted but can pretty much eat anything. Stay at it, you will get there. -
How is everyone feeling? I am well... just taking it day by day. I am not feeling banded. I mean, I can eat pretty much what I want, (sticking to the rules of corse) I have only ate too fast once and I ended up paying for it all afternoon. My stomach hurt and I felt like I needed to burp really bad. I have my first fill scheduled for the 12th of Oct. and I am sure it is going to be different after that. Just wondering how everyone is doing! Hope all is well!

I have not gone either. I went and got some laxatives today. Hopefully it will take care of itself tomorrow.

Yep! Can't wait for the mushies! Woot. That sounds so good to me! Oatmeal, bananas, oh, so many choices! I have been living on popsicles, jello and my favorite that is a real filler has been cream of chicken and mushroom soup. CANT WAIT!

Muscle Milk Light has 150 cals and 20 grams of protein. They are pretty filling acutally.

Good Morning everyone. LOL... it's actually noon. Um I have been sleeping a lot, which has helped with my recovery I think. Feeling much better this morning and am moving around a lot easier. Still full of gas. Haven't had a BM yet, so it's off to the store to get a laxative . (tmi-i know) Did a lot of walking yesterday. Anxious to start eating the mushies Thursday. Sooooo wanted to eat a bowl of cereal this morning. Getting by on popcicles and soup. Try the cream of chicken and mushroom soup. It's really thick and fills me up. AND it's yummy too! Back to work tomorrow. It's going to be a change there. For the most part, people know that I have been banded so I think they will be more sensative to not offering me food that I don't want or need. Husband has been super supportive and I am glad I have him to lean on. Looking forward to the positive changes coming in our lives! Hope everyone is doing well and feeling well. ~Shannon

Hello, 3rd day after surgery. Feeling ok. Gass pains are still there. As much as I have been burping, you think it would be gone by now. Looking forward to hearing all of your progress.

So, this is day 2 post op. Felling better today. Gas pains still there. I had a really good sleep last night. I think that helped a lot. It was nice to be back in my own bed. I was a little hungry last night and had some tomato soup. Working on a protein shake this morning and not really feeling hungry at all. Anyone else feeling scared to eat? I don't want to over do it and get nauseated. Took a shower this morning. ahhhh. The only pain I am having is in the port area and going from a sitting to standing position and vice/versa. Thanks for all your thoughts everyone!
