I have been stuggling all my life with weight problems. My whole family has. Since we have moved to Colorado 4 years ago, I have put on more and more weight until I'm now considered obese. I do not excersise and that doesn't help. I am on oxygen 24/7 because of the altitude and probably my weight has something to do with it. I went through the sleep study program and I have severe sleep apnea. I have high blood pressure, acid reflux, and fibromyalgia. My joints are so effected by the fibromyalgia and also the weight, and my feet burn and swell up at night especially. I can harldy walk some days because of the pain in my feet, knees, hips and lower pack. I'm afraid, at 65 my days are numbered and I'm ready to change my life around so I can live longer and healthier. I would like to be able to walk without dragging oxygen around with me. I would like to walk without getting out of breath and having to stop and rest because my heart is skipping beats. I WANT TO LIVE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE!!! I feel like, after researching and weighing the pros and cons for almost 3 months, I am a good candidate for the surgery. I'm 65 and I have more life in me under all that fat!!! So, I am moving ahead with the surgery hopefully. Ms Jules
