I'm nervous and excited too- I got my bloodwork, EKG and chest xray today- surgery is this Friday. I am supposed to do the liquid diet for 2 weeks but i have cheated a little- ate an apple, a banana and popcorn, not too bad. I use the Elite Protein powder from Wal Mart mixed with low fat Almond milk since I'm lactose intolerant- good luck with your surgery!! Iyna

So have you gotten any good ideas for the liquid diet thing? I just finished my first week of it and I still feel hungry! I have found that vegetable broth tastes better than chicken broth- more flavor! It is hard to deal with at work when everyone is eating lunch so i just stay at my desk- I have been getting more work done!! Iyna

I'm waiting for that phone call too- they said the end of the week- i have a surgery date once insurance it approved- so exciting for you!! Iyna
