I read something yesterday that made my heart smile. Sadly a young life was lost this past week. But the awesome part is that his family donated his organs. What a beautiful gift to give life to others and honoring your lost loved one. I pray for the family of Chris Bonifield and thank them for making a miracle for other families during their time of loss. These are modern day super heroes

I have PCOS. I was sleeved august 26th and have only lost 40 lbs. It's been extremely slow and it upsets me. I'm just praying that as I lose my hormones will normalize and I will pick up the weight loss speed.... -
I have had horrible hormonal issues most of my life. My hair has been thinning since age 17. I'm 30 now. I am 14 weeks out from surgery and am losing what little hair I had at an alarming rate. To top it off my thyroid has decided to spaz out, so you guessed it....more hair loss!!! I am 30 and nearly bald. It's depressing me. Have any of you had to get a hairpiece? Do you have a brand you would recommend? Has anyone had extensions? I knew this would happen but I prayed I would be one of the lucky ones who would dodge the hair loss bullet. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated ...

The past few days I have eaten really crappy. Nowhere what I ate pre sleeve. But definitely over my 800 calories. I worked out yesterday and mall walked today. Bit I'm still feeling like a failure and am scared I will have gained 5 pounds:(

Which Is Better? 3 Meals Or Many ?

3 meals a day or several small meals? I was sleeved 8/26 and have only list 30lbs. I have been doing several small meals totaling between 800-1200 cals a day. I work out and drink a ton of H2o. Thinking I better try 3 meals and cut my carbs way back. Any input? -

I am deficient in potassium, Vit D and B12. I really think some of us are more prone to it., Make sure you are taking a good multivitamin. Are you experiencing hair loss? -

Yeah i have noticed some really intense sweet and salty cravings. I think its a our bodies trying to tell us something. Try some heart healthy dark chocolate. Maybe your body is craving the vitamins in it. I really enjoy sugar free pudding for my sweet cravings. -

Same here:(. I think it may have something to do with the estrogen that is released during fat breakdown. I will take acne over weighing 300 lbs any day!

Coming from a nurse.....WOW That is terrible!!!!! We all make mistakes but that was a totally preventable one. Honesty I am shocked. I'm glad you did not have a worse reaction than you did!!!! I hope you spoke to someone in the hospital's administration about it. -
Have any of you noticed that you get hungry while your lying down? I will go to bed completely content, but about 15 minutes after I lay down my stomach starts to growl and I feel hunger. I notice it too when I am reading taking a bath. It seems so strange lol! Maybe just a figment of my imagination....
