My story is much like many who decide to go the route in terms of a medical intervention. Twenty years of obesity and multiple diets, too many to count andalways some results in the beginning and then gaining the weight back. It took four years of soul searching, nutrition classes, and therapy to come to this decision and I feel very hopeful three days after my surgery. I have always been a large woman who is very physically capable and look forward to that increasing as the pounds come off.
