Too Big For Surgery?
kimmy*custis replied to Beanzilla's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hi Beanzilla, I have never heard of that. I know it is more of a risk with morbidly obese people just having the surgery but they do it all the time. If you get denied there, call another place. Best of luck to you, keep us posted ok? -
Congrats to you both!

I Finally Found Out Why I'm Hesitant To Give Away Clothes That Are Too Large
kimmy*custis replied to Catracks's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have the exact opposite problem, I cant get rid of them quick enough. I am now is a size 12 pant and L top and I just got rid of some more clothes, 14's and 16's and some old ones that were to the back of the closet. I dont ever want to fit in those again so I dont need them. I am going to donate them to the sleeve support group I go to. -

Stallllllllllllll----(
kimmy*custis replied to starsleeve's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
OMG...I sooo feel you. I will be 16 weeks out on the 9th and I was at a stall for 2 weeks, just broke this am, lost a lb!!! Not much but it is in the right direction. It will break, I promise but the waiting does suck for sure. Good luck to you. -
Yes, I wasnt a real hot person to begin with but I was downright cold sometimes after surgery. My husband would come home and I would be in bed with sweats on...and I hate to sleep in clothes! I am much better now ( and the weather is changing) but I still sometimes get chilled easier than most.

Im Starting To Regret My Decision
kimmy*custis replied to ooffa511's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am so sorry about all your issues. I am like everyone above, concentrate on your fluids, that is what is causing most of your issues I believe. I know it is hard but sip,sip,sip...all day. I had to force myself and it did work for me. Hang in there, you will get better soon and be loving your sleeve. Hugs to you!
