After years, no decades of constantly gaining weight and losing a  little, then blowing back up again, I started looking for something to help me.  I contacted my insurance carrier and tried to see a nutritionist and get on a program, but it was around 800 a month.  I talked with my Dr. and discussed other options and she recommended seeing about bariatric surgery.  So, here I am 9days post op, and feeling fine.
