    Ahhhhh Candy!

    LOL i used to do that, with any holiday, the day after i would be at Walmart bright and early. Forget the portioning though hehe. i love those cadbury minis as well. The list of candy i dont like is a lot shorter than the one i do like (whoppers eww and paydays. How do they call it a candy bar when there is no chocolate? It is an unfinshied baby ruth) off topic a little, Blackberry juice, i really admire you. I am trying to get in the best shape of my life, i dont know what your start out weight was, but you look incredible and i have lurked around your page reading all your posts :-). Congrats on all your success.

    How Many Calories A Day?

    also, are you able to do anymore exercising? I know a lot of us have physical restrictions. Maybe while you are walking, jog/run for a minute, then walk 5, then run a minute again. i am a staunch supporter of exercise as soon as you can. I personally think it is so pivotal to the sucess of WLS as a whole. We are going to lose the weight, this is the time of our lives to get as healthy as we can. It has really helped me curb my depression, and ive been meeting a lot of new friends at the gym.

    i would say eat more, and how many carbs are you eating? maybe increase those too. I have been lucky and havent had a stall im thinking its because my carb and protein levels vary each week, and i do a few different workouts to keep my body guessing. Just make sure you are getting your water and protein and most importantly dont stress. Remember its just about impossible not to lose. i cant remember how many calories i ate, but it seems like 520 is low. What is your diet like? Maybe add some cheese, eggs, peanut butter. Have you tried Muscle Milk light or EAS drinks or Atkins? that would mix up the protein and give you new flavors to try. good luck.

    Vitamins?

    my doc told me to stay on the chewies for the first 2 months then go to regular if you are able to swallow. The problem is multi's are so HUGE, i have never seen one that was say the size of a tylenol. Guess they have to pack so much stuff in one pill, i started on Centrum complete at 2 months, but i just had that "stuck" feeling, like it wouldnt go down. so ill eat 8 chewies a day if i have to to get my vitamins in. And the Gummies for get them for me anyway, i chewed chewed chewed and it just didnt want to go down.

    50 Pounds!

    YAY congrats! Hope you celebrated! its a frinkin big deal!! My husband marked the day by buying me a 50$ gift card from Victoria Secret, (im saving it for our beach vacation in May) it was only 2 and a half weeks ago for me but i am still excited about it. its weird, about the 50 pound mark is when people start noticing how much weight youve lost. Enjoy it its only going to get better! Hope i get a 100 gift card when i hit the 100 pound mark haha.

    Vitamins?

    I got Samples of the BA chewies and they hurt my tummy. i had that im going to barf feeling for about 1/2 an hour, i have the centrum chewies as well and im going to stay on them forever, just eat more when i get further along i guess, cause vitamins are so huge and they hurt trying to get them down.

    I am 3 months out and I do 800 calories, 70 grams protein, 50-60 carbs. Give or take depending on my workout.

    Feeling Off

    Do you take B12? i get a shot once a month and it makes me feel wonderful! Maybe try that? most docs will just give you a shot in the office.

    i think it was because of bowl blockage. It was nuts, eggplant and popcorn. well from my NUT anyway.
  13. you have to go where you feel comfortable, i dont pay attention to the BMI chart anymore, it cant be the same for all of us right? With all of our body shapes and the only thing we have in common if height? If you feel healthy and think you could lose more, i say go for it! I went to my endo last week and she couldnt get over how much i had lost, i told her my goal was 140, she said no way you will look to gaunt 180 will be good for you. First doc who told me i will look better still obese haha. I told her lets get to 180 then decide what to do.

    When Life Gets In The Way Of Eating

    i wouldnt get too attached to the protein bar idea. Look at a label on a protein bar, they have 25 grams of carbs and 30 grams of sugar! Even the lower carb arent that great. You will be better off packing Atkins or EAS premixed protein shakes, cheeses, greek yogurt. It is really hard to get in 65 grams of protein in through food, i dunno if everyone else struggles, but i am 3 months out and i can still not get all my proteins through foods, i have to drink protein shots. Soon, it will be second nature to pack all your essentials before going out the door. I always pack mine the night before. Good luck!

    Spicy Food - I Can't Stop

    i have been craving spicy food since surgery. Not spicy hot food, just food with a lot of flavor. i love Mexican now, and before i could hardly stomach it. Slim Jims in all different flavors too. I think we taste food better now, and just like the flavors more?

    The Truth About Hair Loss?

    i am 3 months post op, i have been shedding for about 2 weeks now, im losing probably a hundred hairs a day give or take, i havent been able to tell, but we will see in a few weeks i guess. My NUT told me to do a round of Zinc for the hair loss, so i am trying that. If that doesnt work i will try the other remedies. I guess it wouldnt hyrt to be proactive, but some people say it doesnt matter, your body is going through a shock and will get adjusted eventually. I have an aburn curly wig picked out if i lose to much, but heres to hoping i dont need it. Good luck

    It's Friday Confession Time!

    I actually have nothing to confess this week! We are going on vacation in 49 days and i wanna lose 20 more pounds to get to w"onderland" so i didnt cheat once this week. But i do think im getting addicted to the elliptical. i was on there for an hour this morning, and was seriously trying to rearrange my schedule so i could go back to the gym tonight....

    Protein Tablets?

    I'm so glad I found the shots. I was struggling on protein bad. They are gross, but not nearly as bad as the powders. Put them in the fridge and they are tolerable. I've never found blue rasberry. Where did you find them?

    I am 3 months out, I do 800 calories a day, atleast 60 gram protein, no more than 70 carbs. I'm losing 3-5 pounds a week. I do atleast 5 hours of cardio and strength training a week As well.
