    LAP-Band Vet asking for advice!

Hi Stephanie I don't have any knowledge to pass on about converting to the sleeve but was wondering why you aren't trying to use your band again?? Maybe build up with small fills and get back to basics with your band and you could lose again. I'm starting over after 3 years happy to help if I can

How many calories are you eating per day?

I eat between 700-900 calories per day usually the 700 during the week when i am in work all day and in my routine and a little more on the weekends depending on what i am doing but i rarely eat 1000 calories per day
  4. My surgeon used glue to close my wounds so i did not have any dressings to worry about and i showered first thing the next morning after surgery. The top two layers of skin should be healed 48hrs after surgery all being well with no signs of inflammation or infection you should be fine to shower in your own home no problem but as others have said don't rub the wounds. i also love a boiling hot shower

  7. :DHi I am new to the forum this is my first post. I am 7 months post banding and have really good restriciton so am finding it difficult to get good quantities of protein in. i am losing weight steadily at the moment and my band is tighter in the morning so i tend not to have breakfast apart from a cup of tea no food til lunch time. I am walking 4 times per week at the moment and am wondering if i could supplement my diet with a protein shake in the mornings??? would it do harm to my weight loss to have a protein drink in the mornings especially as i am not doing any high intensity exercise?? also what amount of carbs is acceptable in a protein drink?? sorry for the ramble thanks in advance for any help
