I started the preop liquids 6 days ago and I am hungry alot of the time. I am drinking my protein shakes, then having boullion, SF jello and popsicles, 1/3 c cottage cheese or yogurt per day and tons of water. I am surviving but I am hungry. I keep saying to myself that this too, shall pass. My surgery is on 9/9 so I have just a week to go! But no way to 'sugar coat' the preop diet- it totally is awful! Again, I can do it and so can you!
