I am a 39 year old man who has been athletic for most of my life. About 6 years ago, it became easier to gain and impossible to lose. I live a moderately active lifestyle, am concious of what i eat, excersise 40 minutes daily, do not smoke, and am not diabetic. That said, i am finding it impossible to lose even a small amount of weight and I seem to be hungry ALL the time. I feel that Lap Band will work for me and after studying annd much consideration, am determined to have my surgery done. Unfortunately, I am a full time student and my student health coverage (Blue Cross) said they would not cover me for bariatric surgery "under any circumstance regarless of need, BMI, or comorbidities." I have my work cut out for me and am looking for finincing options.
