RbL7FB replied to JustBrian's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I also tried swinging arms in windmill fashion and that seemed to help a bit for me. For Nausea and stomach pain associated with surgery, hot tea with a bay leaf worked great first 3 days post op.... Pain will go away, takes time... -

RbL7FB replied to Carfigure's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums

Liquid Consumption After Lap Band Surgery
RbL7FB replied to legnarevocrednu's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just be careful... drink what you can and take your time drinking... your stomach still swollen and it may be a bit uncomfortable to drink liquids. In short time you will notice you are drinking better and feeling better. Took me about a full week to be drinking a sufficient amount of fluids. -
I have found posts for everything except immediately following surgery! Was banded 8th Nov, with hernia repair. Seems to be healing as expected and advised. But EVERYTIME I sip water or drink any liquid I feel air bubbles escaping, sometimes very painful, almost like water delayed in getting down. Is this normal, or is there issue?
